TÜV Rheinland is replacing a legacy application that has evolved over more than 20 years with a modern field service platform based on SAP FSM and SAP S/4HANA, designed to efficiently support more than 400,000 inspections annually. The presentation will cover the architecture, implementation approach, and lessons learned during the rollout of this globally scalable solution for planning, dispatching, and mobile inspections. The project also demonstrates how the platform enables future innovations such as AI-supported dispatching and data-driven service use cases.
