Vehicle order management at Nissan – global, integrated, and fully digitized
As one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, Nissan has fundamentally modernized its sales and logistics processes with the support of proaxia. By implementing a globally standardized Vehicle Order Management (VOM) system based on SAP VMS, a major milestone in digitalization was achieved – starting at the plant in Brazil.
The system connects dealers, distributors, and plants through a central platform. Vehicle orders, production control, logistics, and invoicing are now automated, transparent, and consistent – even for complex special requests.
This provides Nissan with the foundation for maximum process reliability, shorter delivery times, and standardized vehicle handling worldwide – scalable, flexible, and future-proof.
Through the standardization within the VOM rollouts, NISSAN aims not only to improve regional processes from vehicle ordering to delivery but also to establish an integrated vehicle pipeline to strengthen global management.
